Matt Lochte

Coach Matt Lochte is a certified Maryland State teacher and basketball coach. Coach Lochte teaches Physical Education and Weight Training at Dulaney High School and is the boys’ varsity basketball coach.

Coach Lochte has been teaching and coaching in Baltimore County for seven years. He started his career at Franklin Middle School, teaching physical education to all grades. He was a teacher there for five years before transferring to Dulaney High. This will be his fifth summer running Future All-Stars Basketball Camp.

Coach Lochte is entering his third year as the Head Varsity Basketball Coach at Dulaney High School. Coach Lochte has been coaching basketball for nine years—the last seven in Baltimore County. He was an Assistant Varsity Coach for Dulaney from 1999-2003. He spent a year as an Assistant at Franklin High for the 2002-03 season. He came back to Dulaney to serve as the Head JV Coach in 2003-04 and became the Head Varsity Coach for the 2004-05 season. Coach Lochte also runs the BFS (Bigger Faster Stronger) Weight Lifting Club at Dulaney.

Coach Lochte was born and raised in Waldorf, MD where he attended Thomas Stone High School. After playing basketball for the Cougars of Thomas Stone, he attended Charles County Community College and Towson University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education.
