Camp Director Matt Lochte
Coach Matt Lochte is a certified Maryland State teacher and basketball coach. Coach Lochte teaches Physical Education and Weight Training at Dulaney High School and is the boys’ varsity basketball coach. This will be his eighth summer running Future All-Stars Basketball Camp.
Coach Lochte has been teaching and coaching in Baltimore County for ten years. He began his career at Franklin Middle School, teaching Physical Education to all grades. He taught at Franklin for five years before transferring to Dulaney High.
Coach Lochte is entering his sixth year as the Varsity Basketball Coach at Dulaney High School. Coach Lochte has been coaching basketball for eleven years – the last nine in Baltimore County. He was an Assistant Varsity Coach at Dulaney from 1999-2003, and he spent a year as an Assistant Coach at Franklin High for the 2002-03 season. He returned to Dulaney to serve as the Head JV Coach in 2003-04 and became the Head Varsity Coach in 2004. Coach Lochte also runs the Bigger Faster Stronger (BFS) Weight Lifting Club at Dulaney.
Coach Lochte was born and raised in Waldorf, MD where he attended Thomas Stone High School. After playing basketball for the Cougars of Thomas Stone, he attended Charles County Community College and Towson University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education. He is currently completing his Masters Degree at Goucher College in Athletic Administration.
Coach Lochte now resides in Towson with his wife, Katie. They are the proud new parents of Jack who was born in February.
