What should my son or daughter wear to camp?

  • Campers should wear shorts and a t-shirt with sneakers (basketball shoes are suggested to prevent injuries). On chilly days, campers may want to bring a sweatshirt.

Are the basketball games played indoors or outdoors?

  • Games will be played both in and outdoors during all camp sessions.

Can parents come and watch the events that take place at basketball camp?

  • Parents are more than welcome to come to any of the camp events. Schedules will be posted every morning, so parents can see what time their children play their games.

Are the camp sites air conditioned?

  • Hannah More School is air conditioned. Franklin Middle and Dulaney High are not. Camp staff provides many water breaks and Gatorade is available to all campers.

Is the camp co-ed

  • Yes, camp is open to girls and boys.

Does camp provide morning and or afternoon day care?

  • No, there are no day care services available. Campers may be dropped off as early as 8:30 am, but must be picked up promptly at 1:00 pm.

Is lunch provided for my child at camp?

  • Lunch is provided on Friday only. Campers can bring a snack, but we highly suggest campers eat a good breakfast and wait until after camp to have lunch.

How much does camp cost?

  • Camp costs $150 per camper. Camp costs $125 per session when signing up for more than one week. Camp tuition can be paid by cash or check made to Reisterstown Rec Council or Cockeysville Rec Council.
